Posting an RFP for municipal building reuse - where?

Hey I have an RFP to lease or sell a municipal building right at the outer edge of the CBD. Given my location, I may be able to entice someone from away to do something here that might even be cool.

I know I can post an RFP here but I'm looking for a Sugar Daddy Developer-Type ya know?

I was thinking LinkedIn but isn't there some clearinghouse of all government RFP's? The ones I googled are state and federal and there is nowhere you can load an RFP to...

    anyone have a URL?

I wish there was a clearinghouse of government RFPs!

You could try one or more of these sites:

    Governmentbids.com
    Find RFP.com
    Northeastern Economic Developers Association
    Maine Municipal Association

I would try calling your regional COG. In my area, they put projects out for RFQ and RFP on a regular basis. They would probably be able to advise on what sites and/or methods lead to the best results.

Also, the state I work in has an office that runs a free bi-weekly online publication that lists projects out for bid, RFQ, and RFP. I'm not sure if Maine has something similiar.

Has a neighboring community advertised an RFP for a project that had an out-of-town developer? If so, you could ask them where they advertised. I'm getting ready to release one soon, too, for an entire city block that the City owns and recently cleared.

Considering your location and the kind of project, you might try ULI. It also may not hurt to send it to the larger engineering firms in the region and ask them to pass it along to anyone they know.
