Hello Cyburbians,

Does anyone know of any good, context-sensitive examples of infill development in early suburban neighborhoods?

My grad studio is working on a post-infrastructure design project in a north SF Bay community. The site is linear, running over a mile long and 300-400 feet wide between neighborhoods that are predominately 1950-1970 ranch-style homes. I would like to do infill housing on a portion of the site, reconnecting two neighborhoods, while increasing density. Obviously, I don't want to build ranches or anything nostalgic to that period. However I've struggled to find examples of modern (lower case m) designs that relate to this context.

If you know of any, please post them here!
