    Hi form L.A

    Hi everyone,

I am happy to be part of this online community and learn so much from all of you.... I just recently decided that I wanted to pursue a community planning degree and currently looking for internships, part-time work or entry level jobs in the L.A area can anyone refer me to some sites, links or contacs
..i am applying to a few schools for Fall 2011 in the Los Angeles area like USC, UCI... can i get other schools in the area that you guys would recommend besides those two?
I am also applying to the University of Maryland i have lots of family out there maybe i can save on living costs..but they'll surely get me with non-resident tuition fees....
also what type of grades and gre scores did some of you guys enter usc and uci with ...i'm trying to see what i need to shoot for on my gre with a 3.0 gpa .. i know those two schools are very competitive..can i get any other schools...

thanks guys...would greatly appreciate your feedback..

    cheers

"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011
