    terraplnr's big news

    On a completely different topic...

So everyone in my office officially knows now (I couldn't really hide it much longer) and I'm halfway there now... am having a baby boy in June. Everything has gone well so far. The hardest part so far was not drinking anything over the holidays.

People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

    Excellent, congrats!

Bubba is a great name for a boy, by the way.

    That is awesome news!

Go with a strong classic name... Like Michael.

Congrats!!! Need a name, why not Zoidberg? Since that and Bender Rodriguez are probably out I'll throw in another vote for Bubba.

Thanks everyone! We have a five year old son who will be six when the baby arrives, so they won’t play a whole lot together in the early years but hopefully they’ll be close as they get older. He’s really excited about being a big brother and is more curious than I was prepared for to know how the baby was created and how it will arrive in the world. I guess ideally they’d be closer in age but whaddya gonna do. 

Boy names are hard, suggestions are welcome!

Kjel, fortunately I didn’t give up coffee!

    Congratulations!

Knowing your origins, you could name him Omer Wayne, Homer Wayne, Billy Bob Wayne or simply Junior.
