Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

The heavenly ladies Dem club must be rolling with Ann Richards, Molly Ivins, GF, and my mama!

    This is great:

President Barack Obama called Ferraro a trailblazer and said his daughters will grow up in a more equal country because of her ideals. ...

Mondale chose Ferraro to run with him against incumbents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush. ...

"My name is Geraldine Ferraro,'' she declared. "I stand before you to proclaim tonight: America is the land where dreams can come true for all of us.''

Her acceptance speech launched eight minutes of cheers, foot-stomping and tears.

RT and I were at a dinner party last night and one of my friends brought up that she had passed. RT asked who she was and so we explained to her. Although some of us were in grade school at the time, others were in high school and college and it was great for her to learn that things were different then.

He'll be buried tomorrow. He always promised next day installation.

At the funeral service, there will probably be mourners wall-to-wall.
