    You get a party plate in Ohio if you get a DUI (or a number of them - depending on how kind the judge is). The idea is that you are branded with a Scarlet letter letting other drivers know that you have had a DUI prior.

    It was meant as a punishment and as a safety measure for those who are on the roads at night... if you see a party plate - you give them a bit of extra room.

    I was in Maricopa AZ last weekend and saw an Alaska plate that said TRIPP. Last week I saw a car in my neighborhood that had HAILS8TN. I was shocked that that made it through the DMV. Another favorite is URAPNES. When I lived in Michigan I saw a guy who had a vanity plate that said 3I0HSSV. On the front of the car he had it upside down and it spelled @sshole.

    On my way to work this morning I saw a semi-truck with a license plate from the Coahuila state of Mexico. Very cool.

    I guess that's something I have NAFTA to thank for!

    I saw a couple rarities in our neck of the woods this weekend.

    One was from Montana and one was from Maine. Were 2 particular Cyburbians traveling south?
