That is tough. The front portion seems older - 1948 and the sided section was added after '55...

I would guess it was "erected" in 1955, though it looks like there might have been a new metal facade put on at some point on the warehouse.

So do they make Viagra there?

    Looks like a WWII job - I'd say 1943.

The facade was added years later.

They actually ship it from here....they make it at a different facility a couple miles away. Can't miss it, it's the one with really tall smokestacks. TRUE.

Have the smokestacks been up for more than 4 hours?

I'm going with 1952. That building looks suspiciously like my middle school (and many other schools built at the same time. Also like the chemistry building at my college).

It looks art deco but I'm guessing 1950.

I'll go with 1948. Tail end of the "moderne" era.

I was going to say 1943, but since that's taken, I'll go with 1944. It was a defence (I'm keeping my British thing going here) facility, since repurposed to pharma.

I'm going with the cheater's answer (or the I have too much time answer) of 1954 for that 463,200 square foot building.

If that's true, then my initial guess (1955) was very close!

1947....since this about the time that people/industry started leaving your neighboring central city for the open fields and easy driving of your CIty.

This has similar architecture as the LS&A Building on UM's central campus. It was built in 1948.
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

WSUMUP does not get the win (cheater face! but a truthful cheater face, nonetheless), but he is correct. The building was constructed in 1954.

So what the hell, let's award rygor and johnelsden a tie this time.

Where did you get 1954? It says Upjohn built this in 1950.

That's not the same building. A lot of details are different. (Check the windows)

I agree with Rygor -- there are two limestone columns in the window detail of the subject, but not in the Upjohn building.
