    C is for Cookie

I enjoy baking cookies and trying out new recipes, lucky for me the Husband enjoys trying new recipes as well. Otherwise I would weigh 500lbs.

What is your favorite kind of cookie?

It may sound quite dull and pedestrian but plain ol' homemade (not the pre-made cookie dough crap you get at the store) chocolate chip cookies (no nuts). warm

Partly for sentimental reasons my mothers frosted cutout Xmas cookies (bell, tree, candy cane, Santa etc) are right up there too.

My favorites are probably my mom's iced sugar cookies followed closely by my wife's butterscotch chip cookies.

Chocolate chip peanut putter cookies. I consider those one of my three forms of kryptonite.

You forgot to list Girl Scout Thin Mints as a poll option.

My all time favorite cookie was a young woman with that name. Oatmeal raisin got my vote on this poll.

I should've clarified, the poll is for homemade or non-commercial cookies.

I like chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips. The recipe is on the side of the Reece's chips bag. Very good.

I voted for Cookie Monster. I feel he had a profound influence on my life habits. After him, I feel all cookies are created equal.

    I've never met a cookie I didn't like.

My favorite cookie is whatever cookie I'm eating currently.

I had a second thought - Anzacs. Australian and NZ specialty, but amazing. It is hard to find Golden Syrup in the States, but good stuff when you can get it

Errrrr, one of my nicknames growing up was cookie monster. I developed the Zen and the Art of Cookie Eating. I have eaten cookies that could have been used as frisbees. You get the drift. Fresh homemade chocolate chip with walnuts is my absolute favorite, but I'm normally not fussy when it comes to cookies.

Isn't that the only correct answer.

My mom made me snicker doodles. Best ever. Her peanut butter cookies are great, too.

Second choice: chocolate chip with nuts.

I enjoy chocolate chip cookies (homemade by my mom - not the break-and-bake crap - and with just the right amount of crispiness to them) and oatmeal cookies (either plain, with raisin, or with chocolate chip, I love them all). I really enjoy white chip macadamia, but I don't think I've ever had it "homemade" per se.

The ginger snap cookies that have been made on my mom's side for multiple generations are also favorites.

Nothing is worse than the sinking feeling you get when you buy what you think is a huge chocolate chip cookie, but it turns out to be a raisin cookie.

Of the ones you list I will have to go with the basic chocolate chip. There are other cookies I favor.

I have to pick just one type?

Okay, I'll go with oatmeal. No, wait - chocolate digestive. Er, I mean white chocolate chip macadamia. This is just too hard.

    Yoopers

    My favorite cookie? Yoopers!

Bought some on a trip to the Upper Peninsula, years ago. Loved 'em. So I have baked them a number of times. What are they? MF delicious!

    Chocolate chips
    Oatmeal
    M & Ms
    Peanut butter

Obviously, not fit for a diabetic. WTH.
