Why Indiana is a-goin' to HELL

    I frankly am speechless.

“(T)he right to reasonably resist an unlawful police entry into a home is no longer recognized under Indiana law,” the court ruled, though no written statute was changed and no precedent-setting court ruling provided a basis for the decision, other than the court’s own.

Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

    Indiana IS THE LAW!!!

    Cues: R Dean Taylor....

Anyways, from what I have read of the case in point, this is just another in a long litany of reasons for why the Drug War™ has got to go.

Also, I am fully expecting this one to be appealed to the USSupremes and it will likely be overturned there.

I'm stunned I don't even know where to begin. I'm pretty sure this one will get kicked up and out, but even so WTF could the Indiana Supremes have been thinking?

I don't know about the whole state, but I can say with certainty that at least three people in that state have completely lost their marbles.

    This is an interesting concept...

The court ruled that the centuries-old standard no longer applies because if police wrongly enter a home, residents can sue them and, unlike hundreds of years ago, get quick bail, have a quick court date and not be tortured in jail.
So can we look at all the laws that were created a long time ago when we were a different country and get rid of them because the situation isn't the same now? Wow...

    Gedunker and what other two?

Y'all would have to know Indiana. This doesn't suprise me in the least. Again, Indiana is a very conservative state and has gotten more so the past couple of years. Y'all really don't know the half of it. Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, this is where y'all are heading.

We have to get big government out of our lives, um...except in this and most other instances.
