Please advice. I have been accepted for the urban planning program at UCLA. I really want to know what the Job prospects are for recent urban planning grads. If I have to go through 2 years of school & loans, I want to be sure it’s worth my time & money. I am interested in transportation, but would go with anything within urban planning that has good career opportunities. Any info with regards to transportation planning Jobs for fresh grads? I have masters in architecture & about 5 years experience. It has been a rough ride & I am therefore looking for a career change. Just don't know if urban planning is any better. Would my background give me any reasonable advantage in finding internships/Jobs?
Any specific information about internships for urban planning students? Where have people found internships & what kind of work one does?
Any info that will help in my decision will be appreciated.
