    Zombie Invasion Dreams

Everyone loves polls and everyone seems to love zombies. This is, therefore, going to be the coolest thread in the FAC.

I haven't had one yet, but thanks for asking. Now I probably will.

I usually have nightmares about heights and not being able to find a clean/working bathroom. Yes, really.

    Yes.....

I also have dreams where I'm surrounded by hundreds of snakes, but they are more of a hastle than scare. Anyone out there have alien dreams? Sit on my couch and tell me about it

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.

I live in metro Atlanta. The Walking Dead films here. Part of Season One was filmed near my office. We actually get traffic reports telling us (at times) to avoid certain intersections/stretches of road/areas due to zombies.

So, no, I don't dream about zombies. I live with them.

I do enjoy a good Zombie movie, book, podcast, videogame, painting, etc. but cannot say I've ever had a Zombie appear in my dreams.

On a related note... anybody play Plants vs Zombies? I got addicted to that Friday morning and it consumed way too much of my weekend.

No dreams about Zombies, but I would like to think that I could change my normal dreams to zombie dreams at some point. Maybe once I am dead. Interesting concept.

Last weekend my son told me about a dream he had where he was fighting zombies. Those karate lessons really paid off. He was kicking the living shit out of the living dead.

I agree. Sadly I dream about people in my personal life. We do have bizarre experiences but never with zombies. Never understood a zombie fascination.

May I suggest a Thriller flash mob done by Cyburbians at APA headquarters?

I believe that the real reason for our obsession with zombies is the notion of the apocalypse we always have in the back of our mind. Every living adult probably considers the possibility of "witnessing the apocalypse" however unlikely it is to occur. The important aspect of the zombie scenario is that, unlike some sort of asteroid crashing into the earth, there will be survivors. We then go on to assume that we will in fact be survivors, now fighting the romantic uphill battle of saving/rebuilding the world.

All the while, holding two shotguns and riding a Harley 200 mph down an empty freeway

Who wouldn't want to have zombie dreams?
Insanity in individuals is something rare - but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.

MMmm. Maybe we need a Fantasy Zombie subforum. We already have Fantasy Baseball, Football and Hockey subforums. What is up with that?
