Good point. Good site. How about the last 50 years in the U.S., adaptive reuse of already built on area, e.g., conversion of a former industrial site, or of a transportation artery, etc. Here in downtown San Diego, I'd love to see us cap our below grade freeway and use the space for a park - but that's probably not all that creative.
