Here is another story from today's Orlando Sentinel on the major changes to Florida's growth management regulations. The story credits "Thelma and Louise" as the architects of the bill. That is an error. I know who wrote the bill; "Thelma and Louise" only carried the ball. Otherwise, a fairly accurate story.

This is interesting, too. It shows that oversight of local comprehensive plan amendments were totally ignored at the state level in the past two years.

Wow... the Rick Scott administration doesn't even bother masking the fact that state land planning has been reduced to a rubber stamp in Florida.
