Due to the difficulty of achieving a quorum lately we've been tossing around the idea of holding "virtual" meetings for our Waterfront Advisory Committee (WAC). Anyone currently doing this or been advised for or against doing this?
We have a local law that states all projects occurring within a stated boundary needs to be reviewed for consistency with the policies set forth in our Waterfront Revitalization Plan. We typically have 1 case every few months. Typically the applicant doesn't request or appear before the WAC. Project materials would be uploaded to a project management website and Committee members would be able to review the materials and express any concerns via the website and vote in favor or opposition.
