A number of colleges are adding degrees in sustainability. The curriculum varies from school to school, but they all sound similar to planning with a hint of RE development, especially Florida's program.

Presumably, planning grads and sustainability grads will be competing for the same jobs. For this reason, I wonder if sustainability degree holders will influence the planning profession in the United States. For example, could a viable alternative to the PAB and the APA be born?
