    Certifications

    Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if there were any certifications that would help me gain and "edge" when it comes to planning. Besides, degrees and AICP.

So does anyone have any certifications that have proven useful in their career or landing a position?

You can look at related fields.

CEcD - certified economic developer through IEDC
EDFP - economic development finance professional through NDC - they also have a housing certification.
You might also look at floodplain management or emergency management certifications.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.
