    Bainbridge GA

    In the southwest part of Georgia where cotton growing is king.











    Sadly, many of the downtown commercial buildings are abandoned.


    City Hall.

    Now, the historic residential neighborhood.

    The October weather was prefect and the people were warm and gracious. The area is picturesque, changing topography, gorgeous heritage-size oak trees, wonderful architecture....but it's so rural.

    Agreed! When people say "The South" these picutures are what I see. Great pics, RJ. Always love when you guys cruise these towns and post pictures.
