    New from Toledo

After repeated entreaties from TerraSapient, I have just joined Cyburbia! I have no idea yet what I'm doing, but I'm saying hello from Toledo, OH. I come from the land of planning academia (though I may be a practicing planner in the very near future!) My interests are quite broad due to my ADD, but most of my research is in the area of food systems planning. I'm also interested in planning for equity and designing sustainable communities.

Welcome from SW Ohio! Hopefully you are on the right side of the tracks (Ohio State fan instead of that team...)... that way I can support your membership.

    Glad to have you!

    Welcome.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

    Greetings from the Florida panhandle.

Welcome, veggiegrrrl! My one & only visit to the Toledo area was to a wonderful park called Oak Openings, where I saw my first Red-Headed Woodpecker.

    Hello, from Dallas, TX!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011
