Hey guys, I recently graduated from York University (Toronto) with a degree in Urban Studies. I have been realizing I probably need to masters in planning to do what I want to do. Anyways, I have begun looking at international master programs outside of Canada in addition/back ups to CDN programs. I intend to practice in Canada.
-It needs to be an English program so I have begun to look at look at the UK, Australia and Netherlands more seriously. This not to say I would be opposed to the US or country suggestions.
-Preferences: Technical school (missing that aspect since Urban Studies was a lot of research and theory). I have many planning related interests but have not narrowed down to one so maybe a program that feeds multiple interests would be good if it exists. Undergrad interests included placemaking, cultural planning, communities, suburbs, use of space, landuse, public transit, and sustainabilty. So if anyone knows of any programs that has good feel for one or more of these topics point it out please.
-In general any school recommendations or lists ranking non-North American planning programs would be greatly appreciated.
