    Australian grad schools

Does anyone have any experience with graduate schools in Australia? I got accepted to the University of Sydney for March after applying on a whim. It is a shorter program than US/Canadian programs (1.5 years) and the cost isn't that bad.

A well-regarded program in a reputable institution. It's likely that you'll find a handful of other Americans in the program. Many don't intend to return to the States, however.
A shorter program gives a basic instruction. If you have an area of interest that you want to pursue, you probably have to continue on a second master's in sustainable development, transport, urban design, etc.

Went to one. It was a good move. I recommend it.

    transport planning programs

    Hi,

I am interested to know if any of the Australian planning schools are particularly strong in transport planning?

    Thanks

    Transport planning Oz

ITLS in University of Sydney Business School has a logistics slant, while ITS Monash seems to have an engineering slant. The latter is distance learning only for foreigners. UQ and Melbourne planning programs have a number of transport units.
