What are the best single-line lyrics?

What do you think are the best single-line lyrics ever written? Not a whole song but rather just one line from the song?

    I'll start.

"What did you expect to find - Aphrodite on a bar stool?" Gin Blossoms: Pieces of the Night
I burned down the church to atone for my transgressions.

"I may make you feel but I can't make you think, your sperm's in the gutter your love's in the sink." Jethro Tull - Thick As A Brick

I guess that could be two lines, so I'll try another:

"Made up my mind to make a new start, Going To California with an aching in my heart." Led Zeppelin - Going to California

and how could I not include:

"I gave her my heart but she wanted my soul, don't think twice, it's all right." Bob Dylan - Don't Think Twice. It's Alright
Insanity in individuals is something rare - but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.

"I'm not black like Barry White, no, I am white like Frank Black is." personal favorite. Bloodhound Gang, I actually forget the song's name but I'm singin' it now, baby.

Also like: "We couldn't all be cowboys, some of us are clowns." from "Goodnight Elizabeth, Counting Crows.
"...I would never try to tick Hink off. He kinda intimidates me. He's quite butch, you know." - Maister

"Between Marx and marzipan in the dictionary, there was Mary" - Billy Bragg

"The way you squeeze my lemon, I wanna fall right outta bed" - Led Zeppelin (and many Bluesman before them)

" In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey" - Beck

    I also thought of:

"And don't you know that I'm always feelin' able when I'm sittin' here carvin' out your naval" - Blind Melon
Children in the back seat can cause accidents - and vice versa.

"Couldn't help but feel ashamed to live in a land where justice is a game" - Hurricane, Bob Dylan

"I feel like a quote out of context" - Best Imitation of Myself, Ben Folds

NPR did this a couple years ago:
    http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/20...ng_line_1.html

Spinner did a modified version of first lines:

    The best being:
    • "You were a waitress at a cocktail bar"
    • " Hello Darkness, my old friend"
    • "There must be some kind of way out of here, said the joker to the thief"
    • "Well, it's one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, now go, cat, go!"
    • "Don't call it a comeback"
    • "Hey, ho, let's go!"
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. -Douglas Adams

I thought you'd always be mine (mine)

What? Them's some deep lyrics right thar.

"Let's go down to the mermaid cafe and I will buy you a bottle of wine, and we'll laugh and toast to nothing and smash our empty glasses down! Let's have a round for these freaks and these soldiers, a round for these friends of mine, and a round for the bright red devil who keeps me in this tourist town". Carey Joni Mitchell.

What can I say, the woman is a genius!

Edit: Okay one more submission for Ms. Mitchell, then I will move on:

"All I really really want our love to do is to bring out the best in me and in you, I want to talk to you, I want to shampoo you" All I Want

Fantastic! If you haven't checked out Bad As Me, I highly recommend. Although as a Chicago native I may be a little biased

And how! That line was from the album Blue Valentine which has so many great songs. Listened to Heart Attack and Vine a few weeks ago, too. That's more the bluesy, storyteller Tom Waits. But I also like the more recent stuff - Rain Dogs and Swordfish Trombones on to present day. Though I have yet to hear the latest release.

His wife was a spent piece of used jet trash
Made good bloody-marys, kept her mouth
shut most of the time, had a little Chihuahua
named Carlos that had some kind of skin
    disease and was totally blind.

    They had a thoroughly modern kitchen;
    self-cleaning oven (the whole bit)
    Frank drove a little sedan.
    They were so happy.

One night Frank was on his way home
from work, stopped at the liquor store,
picked up a couple of Mickey's Big Mouth’s.
Drank 'em in the car on his way to the
Shell station; he got a gallon of gas in a can.

    Drove home, doused everything in
    the house, torched it.
    Parked across the street laughing,
    watching it burn, all Halloween
    orange and chimney red.

Frank put on a top forty station,
    got on the Hollywood Freeway
    headed North.

    Never could stand that dog.
The purpose of life is a life of purpose
