Well, at least they were building on the German heritage of the area...oh, no wait, they weren't! That's the most amusing part about Leavenworth to me. There is nothing historically Germanic (or Bavarian or Austrian for that matter) about that place at all! Or at least that's how I understand it.

If things go south in my community, I am going to propose a North Korea-themed conversion. Come worship Our Dear Leader! See the forced labor camps! Experience the sub-standard healthcare!
