BTW, wife had to work at 6:30 this morning so mini-skis and I went into downtown until 8:30 to watch some of the concerts, then came home. I think I was in bed by 10:00 knowing I would have to be up at 7am with the little guy.
On a happy note, they are calling for the first snow storm of the season starting this afternoon! Mini-skis and I are going to go play in the white stuff after dinner tonight. Maybe I will teach him to run the 40+ year old snow blower.(like my wife would ever let him near it...)

I'm trying to work up the courage to go for my 5 mile training run today. I've only run 4 miles twice in my life. Those runs were a challenge. 5 miles has me just about psyched out.

Had a great party last night. For a party with only 6 people, we sure made the most of it. A friend and I polished off a bottle of Jack. In addition, the others went through about 24 bottles of beer, half a handle of vodka, and then we all drank about 2 bottles of champagne after 11. And we stayed up dancing to recent hits and 90s music til about 3 or 4 in the morning. Good times.

Today is an odd day. Mini-skis is taking his nap, I am watching the Packer game and I am surprised at how the refs made a very bad call against the Lions. It was a TD, Det could not challenge it because he was out of challenges. That is a stupid rule. They should be able to challenge any play within the end zone, regardless if it is a TD or not.
We are hoping to get enough snow to play in but it is not coming down nearly as thick as TWC said it would be.

Chicken fajitas for us tonight. Why? Because we have some cilantro and some bell peppers we need to use before they go bad. That and because Mrs. Otis apparently doesn't want to cook tonight and I am the fajita man. Since I am a great cook, they will be delicious.
