Holy smokes did you see last nights game? These replacement refs are going to destroy this season.

Blame the NFL, not the replacement refs. Unless lots of people boycott the games, NFL products & sponsors, it's not going to hurt the owners. Even then, they've still got the tv contracts and the pre-sold season tickets. OTOH, you might think of it as the best chance for some really terrible teams to get to the playoffs. And betting on games is a lot more interesting.

It's not a saving thing. It's that the FINAL save I did, after I was all done, somehow got corrupted in the XML somewhere. My IT guy managed to save my comments and my track changes so I at least have the large chunks of text I wrote, but not the little things or the editing, that will be hard to match up. Unless someone knows how to match a track changes XML to an original document I'll be trying to reinvent what I did in 5 days in about a half a day.

NHL does not surprise me. Think about how hard it is to avoid the puck, the players, and skate backwards fast enough to keep your eye on the game. Unlike many other sports, you can't dive out of bounds to avoid the play. You just go up against the boards like the rest of them.

If they were going to remake the TV show "The Wonder Years" the show would be set in 1992. (Show set in 1968 and firest aired in 1988).

Rainy days and Wednesdays always get me downnnnnn...

Yes, I know the correct day is Monday. The only Wednesday song I can think of is an obscure Undertones single ("Wednesday Week"), and an early Elvis Costello song with the same name.

So would the theme song be right here/right now by Van Halen? Or how about some Pearl Jam thrown in there... or even better, these guys:

Last night's dream involved a fairly extensive makeout session with Jimmy Fallon. In the dream he was a really good kisser. In real life I can't stand him.

My wife has had her new car for about a week and scraped the side of the garage on her way in to it this morning. It doesn't even have 100 miles on it yet, but it now has some custom pinstriping .

Ouch. Well at least she got it out of the way. The worst part about having a new car is the anxiety about when you're going to get your first dent or ding.

Just had some dry roasted cayenne almonds from austiNuts, Tasty and addictive. I'm hiding them from me. We'll see how that works.
