I conducted my inspection of the "bikini and lingerie" bar this morning. I have to share these images with ya'll
The dance pole up front.
The backroom dance pole. The dance platform is about waste high with a convenient beverage shelf. That's the DJ booth in the background.
Lap dance area complete with built-in beverage holders. You wouldn't want to spill a chilly beverage a dancer.
They are hoping to have the grand opening tonight.
I like being a planner.
A nuisance may be merely a right thing in the wrong place — like a pig in the parlor instead of the barnyard.
Too many lights in the lap dance area.
Children in the back seat can cause accidents - and vice versa.
I gotta say, I feel ripped off. The houses of sorta-ill-repute that I did zoning visits for back at my first gig were dumps. The idea of beverage holders is making me thirsty. Only thirsty, mind you. Thirst is my only need.![]()

RJ came home early today with either sinusitis or a cold. Nonetheless, we went downtown for the Friday festival and then dinner at a local Italian place. We got home 30 min ago. He's sound asleep in his desk chair. Poor guy.
The brightness is from the camera flash. In fact, the area is very dimly lit.
That's not going to happen because I rather like my private parts. No need to give ZG a reason for their amputation.
Not sure if they opened last night.
Other than the purple walls, the design is...interesting.
Oh, and they had to send the lockers in the lady's dressing room back. Too big....but wow, there were lots of lockers.

I think I nearly got pepper sprayed by an old lady in a parking lot at lunch time today. She was driving a gorgeous 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and I just happen to be in the market for such a beast. She looked to be getting a bit nervous as I was approaching her and staring down her Waggy but she did eventually relax when she figured out I was serious about it (I knew the right questions to ask regarding common problem areas). She took my name and number but it didn't sound like she was really looking at getting rid of it anytime soon. I went on with my lunch and quietly cried to myself about not being able to close the deal. The thing had a perfect interior and less than 60,000 miles on it. Absolutely gorgeous!

End of August, a zoning administrator I used to work with died at 62. A few days ago, a building official I used to work with died at 63. Weirdly, they had the same initials. Thinking of things "coming in threes", hope I don't know anyone else with those initials.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: there isn't an NFL commentator out there who doesn't look like he's running a string of low-class hookers on a bad street corner. Do they get their suits at KMart?
The NFL needs a "What Not to Wear" and have Brian Williams dress these guys.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un had talk "On Effecting a Drastic Turn in Land Management to Meet the Requirements for Building a Thriving Socialist Nation" with leading officials of party and state economic bodies and working people's organizations on April 27, 2012. The work was delivered to the participants in a meeting of activists of the general mobilization movement for land management on Tuesday.
The party attaches great importance to land management and environmental conservation in building a thriving socialist nation, he said, calling on the whole party, the whole army and all the people to more dynamically conduct the general mobilization movement for land management, spruce up the land as befitting that of a thriving nation and actively contribute to building an economic power and improving the standard of people's living.
Kim Jong Un called on all officials and people to dynamically wage the general mobilization movement for land management with ardent loyalty to the party and warm patriotism and thus firmly preserve and always glorify Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's idea and exploits performed in the land construction and step up the building of a thriving socialist nation.

My wife is about to have a physical and mental breakdown because of a special project her company is doing right now. It doesn't help that her boss, the president of the company, took a 2 week trip to Italy. She's getting a decent size bonus at the end of the project, but I'm starting to wonder if it's worth it.She's been working 60 hour weeks the last three weeks, largely due to other who don't do their jobs. I listen to her vent when I'm home, but it's getting frustrating. She works from home, so it often feels like there's no separation between the two. Hopefully her boss givers her a bigger bonus than what he said originally.

It was 80 degrees one year ago today in my fair community.
This morning it was 41... today has a high of 60.

I still have no doors, windows, or roof on my Jeep on my drives in to work (though I may put a partial top on tonight). Nothing a nice thick sweater, flannel dress pants, lined gloves, wool hat, peacoat, etc... cannot fix.
I'm still trying to hold out on actually putting the doors and full roof on until after the first snow.

I love a well-turned phrase.
Last night I was watching a DVD of one of my favorite shows (Nichols). Nichols is talking with this vivacious woman who is creating havoc among the menfolk. Nichols tells her with obvious admiration, "You are Eve's own apple - skin, stem, seeds and cider."

Wife got in a small car accident Sunday morning. She was making a protected left while the light was changing to yellow. As she turned and looked back down from the yellow light a vehicle was in the intersection. She hit it left front to left rear. Since it was early there were no witnesses and the police didn't see it. Though the other person either blew the light or realized they started to run it and then slammed on their brakes we'll never know, but all I know is we're going to be out of a deductible, half a day vacation (to get it to the shop and rental pick up today), and now a vehicle that has been in an accident because of someone else's irresponsibility.
