My sister came out for a visit and spent all of last week here… I love her, but we’d kill each other if we lived together. I had entertained thoughts of us taking a trip somewhere next year, but I think my stress levels would be much lower if I went on my own. :-P Unless we went somewhere where we could be on our own timetables during the day and then hang out together in the evenings.

But we did take my son to Legoland and that was fun, we are going to have a lot of fun riding big roller coasters together when he’s tall enough.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Lately anytime I keep seeing stuff that I put in emails to management wind up in tweets from The Boss. I have about 10 followers, he has nearly 4,000.

BTW, I'm back from two weeks of vacation: one in Colorado and one in Virginia. Got out of VA just ahead of the hurricane. Though it was raining like mad in Portland when I landed.

State of Emergency for my fair city and county. Wind had picked up with peak winds expected around 10pm. Better find the deck of cards.

The 49ers game is about to start and guess who's asleep in front of the t.v.? Maybe understandable after his extreme excitement when he woke up and saw the Giants win the World Series. He possibly beat a hole into his ottoman (not my problem).

Said on FB and probably here before.... some people need to think about saying nobody should live in the SE US hurricane zone.

That said, I know we have a bunch of Cybs in Sandy's path and hoping all heeding warnings and are OK. If you haven't been thru one, you just don't know. Maybe Gov Christie forgot to buy peanut butter and will lose 100 lbs in the next month...

Okay, as an experiment I am not going to split off any threads from RTDNTOTO until further notice. If you've got something to say and think it may be a topic worthy of discussion with others, start your own new thread. Together we can reach 8k randoms by 12/31/12
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. Are you sure you're going to be able to resist the temptation? TS's discussion about colicky babies could've made for a nice split......

I know I know, it's going to be a sore trial for me. And yes, my first impulse was to split off a colicky baby thread

This is one you should split, for ease of future reference.

Okay okay I split it. But this is (probably) the Last Time.

I say continue to split when necessary.

It just means that when we hit 8K, it will matter that much more.

I think we need to look inside and blame ourselves, not Maister. He is just making our quest harder, not impossible.
