Dude. Otisville is about to get its first medical marijuana clinic. There's been a lot of controversy lately over other things, so maybe this will mellow the city's vibe some. And maybe help out some of the restaurants, too.

Start up/take over a Taco Bell in your city and you'll be set.
    And that concludes staff’s presentation...

    Speaking of restaurants ....

I'm so hungry I could eat someone's foot. We were suppose to eat an hour ago and the person we are waiting for still isn't ready. Cry!

BTW, he asked if calling the place "High Tide" was going too far. We suggested he think about it.

I think we need a leafy green smilie.

Miles Kimball or Lillian Vernon. I don't think Lil charges extra for personalizing. I got a bunch from there when the kid was little.

Hallmark has them as well. You can get something engraved at a place like Things Remembered as well.

    I'm being stalked.

This morning, for the second time, luckless pedestrian's son has invited me to play an on-line game. Something called MinoMonsters--"it's free!!"
    A middle-aged guy playing on-line games? I don't think so.

That's what I get for sharing me cell phone number with a Cyburbian.

lp has a middle-aged son? Couldn't have been referring to yourself, AARP says you're a senior citizen.

I read the first reports this morning regarding Jovan Belcher. I didn't want to read any more. But I did because it's like watching a train wreck.
What a horrible tragedy. I just can't imagine the demons he must have been carrying... And to think their daughter will never know her parents.

    Very sad, indeed.

I'm supposed to head to the airport in about 1 1/2hrs and I haven't showered or packed yet. Instead I'm tooling around on the interwebz while my little kitty is perched on me.

    Spokes-person for my fair city

So today I hit the Y after church, and browsed the magazine exchange rack. Picked up the fall '12 Rails to Trails. And I'm sitting on the four-limbed elliptical listened to NPR and turning the pages, and when I found this I about fell off the apparatus:

The occasion was a ribbon-cutting on our first bike lane. The only other two-wheeler present was in the hands of a city commissioner (he drove to a shop a couple blocks away, borrowed a bike, they gave him a shop shirt to wear).

Pretty funny caption considering that I've been an Effective Cycling instructor for, oh, three+ decades. (Traffic-safe, vehicular style cycling. I don't need no steenkin' bike lane!)

Put it up as the "cover" of my FB wall, the latest update to my LinkedIn profile, and...oh, I'll go hit the trails alliance, and the bicycle coalition.

I'm liking this warm weather. Should be mid 60s in Chicago tomorrow, I think the average is closer to 40.
