I had a breakfast bar this morning. I wish we had a chef that made me fresh bacon and eggs over easy every morning.... with coffee and Orange Juice.

I am questioning if I should be at work today. I feel worse than I did at 5 am... and I have already had breakfast.

Power went out at work yesterday afternoon and didn't come back on in time for my Planning Commission meeting. Had to cancel the meeting due to power outage. First time I've had that happen in my career.

I was just looking at the office calendar and counted that, including yesterday and today, I will only be working 10 full days this month. I love December!

I'm scheduled to give on Christmas Eve. My gym hosts a blood drive each year on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve and I always donate on one of them.

I think alcohol mixed with juice should be required at 10AM, 1PM, and 4PM every day. Man I would have something to look forward to.... and you know the juice makes me not an alcoholic...

I told the nurse that cranberry juice and vodka is considered a health drink. She just shook her head and did not respond.

Funny thing is the nurse probably goes home and drinks the exact same thing.

Now that you know where the breaker is, I suspect it might happen more frequently.

There is a line that shouldn't be crossed in even the most affable of people. An imaginary line I am tired of being pushed to at home and at work. I can hear the line-pusher walking down the hall now, babbling incoherently in his expensive shoes and not remembering where he parked his expensive car. Soon he'll be here, asking me questions which have been answered many times. Later, over an lunch he will expense, he will regurgitate my information to key people and seem like a big-wig while "he" picks up the check. During this time, I will be eating my cup of noodles while still fielding phone calls from idiots who should not be allowed to own property or businesses or probably to procreate or chew gum.

After this day, I will drive home to my angry wife.

However: I will be paid during all of this. I will read hilarious stuff from all of you. I will have a cup of noodles, and I will drive home to a wife and to my kids. So.....

I'll get up and do it every day and be happy that these are my problems, and that they're very first world. OK it was long and bitter and self-serving, but I feel better so Thanks.

Quick. Convene a Congressional Inquiry about this!!! That sounds like he's fabricating an excuse for what really happened. Remember Bengazi?!?!?!

Careful now, you're treading dangerously close to a "Motley Crewe of Cyburbian Villagers Hoist Torches and Pitchforks Swearing to Lynch Maister" thread. Just sayin'
