Seriously. I'll grab a cart, start pushing it, and *BANG*BANG*BANG*BANG*BANG*, like I'm on the floor of a Detroit stamping plant. Put that cart away, grab another, and *BANG*BANG*BANG*BANG*BANG*. Every single cart.

Meanwhile, at Wegmans, their carts roll as smoothly as a 1974 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Brougham on a freshly paved Interstate, even on their ceramic tile floors.
This is how I feel at Lowe's when I have to get the big carts for lumber. They store the carts at the opposite end of the store from the wood and building materials, so you have to traverse the whole place on that cement floor - kabam! chunk chunk! bang! Drives me crazy!

Yours truly gets ink in the local rag again tomorrow morning. The story is already on their web site.
Only one unfortunate comment I made was posted. Accurate, but true. Truth hurts.

Hey, at least it doesn't involve a titty bar!! Ya'll know I work on more things than that.

Finally found out the name of a neighbor and fellow dog-owner - after only 5 years. I finally decided to ask.

I hope 2 weeks out of the office will help my morale. If not a bottle of vodka will take up residence in my desk upon my return to the office in January.

Bringing Vodka in a water bottle has become a serious thought most days for me. I mean, really, who's going to know??

annual physical in two hours. Blood pressure's going up just thinking about it....

Oh, and I hope that super hot nurse he works with is not there today, or at least not assigned to me (guys, you know what I'm talking about)
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

I have a full 40 hours until my two weeks. After Christmas we're driving down to Florida and spending 4 nights in the Tampa/Clearwater area, then spending 3 nights in Atlanta on the way back to Michigan. I can't wait to just do nothing but drive around, eat, enjoy some cultural attractions and lay around doing nothing.

Yesterday I started sneezing and woke up with a tickle in my throat. I hope it is just allergies. I just got over a sinus infection a few weeks ago.

That sounds an awful lot like wimpitis. You might want to get that checked out

I went from living 3 hours away from my parents and sister to 30 minutes, yet we are still not thought of when making plans, even when those plans involve things 10 minutes from our house and also involve my nephews and niece. I don't even know what to think anymore. They either think they are bothering us, or don't want to spend time with us. Whatever. I get more invitations from my ex brother-in-law to do things with the kids than my sister.
