I spent Christmas at the home of a friend with two young children, who are both addicted to Caillou. My friend is in the minority that's in the "Caillou is one of the best children's shows on television" camp. I wonder if Caillou is really a bad role model, because of his whining and tantrums,

Nervous that I will spend that money on a snow blower and then it will not snow the rest of the season.

Was trying to save up for a riding lawnmower since we have an acre of grass and I am planning to start cutting my neighbor's grass since they are old and decrepit. Though, will also likely need help with the snow.

    Decisions, decisions.
There's a teen on your block, or nearby, who would love the cash, which will help keep that family's snow blower going. Yeah, I'm an old co-op-er.

I think the most judgments, listing of grievances, and general cattiness occurs in the first 5 minutes following a family holiday get together.

We finally broke down and turned the heat on, it was 67 in the apt all day and I had enough!

Potential Toledo laefest: no can do

Because I'm out on the highway, I messaged a few folks about possibly getting together on NYDay in Toledo. But wait...the event I was attending has thrown me for a loop. It's either the dorm food, or the dorm atmosphere, or suddenly being around a whole heckuva lot of people....departed early, home tomorrow.

Guess it was about time; I did not have any colds or symptoms all last year.

Oh it's low 40s outside...still not as bad as you though. Knock on wood, we have missed all the snow and frigid cold so far this year.

Jigar (jigg-er), 2008, cabernet sauvignon, Dry Creek Valley (CA). Nothing great to report on this one. But no flaws. Average. Pick it up if your find it at a decent price.

    Oops, wrong thread.

More so because there are pictures of dudes like that but none of pretty ladies. Unless those are hidden on his special drive.
