Or should I say, "pretty ladies besides me." :p

I have a passion for that valley. I conducted a land use study of the area in college.

I enjoy the region. It seems though you have a depth of knowledge of it....

I don't like the word gerbil. It doesn't look right.

Am not going to complain about my family... deep breaths... Some day I will wish I had more time with them.

On another topic, they live in a suburb of Oklahoma City now. I've meet some really helpful people while out and about. I think they are so nice because they never, ever have to stress about trying to find a parking space. No low-grade road rage in that regard.

Just finished watching a really good German movie called The Edukators. I had one cat on my lap and the dog lying close beside me; the other cat was behind us on the back of the couch. At least two pets snored throughout the movie. I enjoyed it, though.

I like OKC. Met the mayor last year. The city really seems to get it.

My wife and I spent the day shopping today. Are we trying to pretend we have anything but lint left in the account after Christmas??? I don't get it! But Lime Ricki swimming suits was having a big sale and so I did get to hang around while she and a bunch of other women tried on swimsuits. Not a bad late December Saturday I suppose.

Yeah, it sounds like they are doing some neat things downtown. My parents live out in a burb... The burb's claim to fame is that it was the birthplace of Garth Brooks.

Do they have all the street named after his songs? Or a bar named friends in low places.

Today, I also swapped a fleece jacket that was given to me as a Christmas gift for some Fiestaware at Kohl's.
The next time you're in this area, save half a day for Homer Laughlin China factory. Great deals on Fiestaware, if you're patient enough to go through seconds. First quality is a little cheaper than at department stores, and the selection is better. The factory is about 3 miles south of Rt. 30/Lincoln Highway in northern WV panhandle Turn off of Rt. 30 at the big teapot.
