Yep! Bourbon St. on the way to our reception. We got our picture next to the neon love acts sign, a tranny, Lucky Dog cart, some drunk college students and the Huge Ass Beer sign.

I think you only need to be if he is in the picture.

I once was let go from a temp job for excessive emailing. The job was monkey-esque data entry and while I easily and accurately was doing that (now) Hubby and I had about 5 different email conversations going.

People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

OK, I did, but I don't think it helped. It's damn hard to hit the rain gauge with it being on top of a four-story building.

Was your hubby let go or reprimanded? Or did he say that the temp started it all?

I'm seeing an ad for Myspace, it's still around?

    Let's think of some topics....

    - Blizzards suck. Yet DQ decided to name the most popular frozen drink this. And they don't suck. Discuss.
You can't suck a Blizzard™ up a straw, either. You have to use a spoon.

BTW, nothing beats a chocolate chip cookie dough Blizzard™ for pure sinful pleasure, too!

    - Cartoons these days are all animated junk. Animation can't fix bad programming. Why don't we have the same quality of cartoons for kids anymore?
Yea, I hearya here. Unfortunately, the PC Police have made it impossible for Granny to pack and use heat against Sylvester anymore.

    - How many year end review or best of 2012 articles can be written? Why do they normally have the same material, yet are not from the AP or similar sources?
Hmmmm, when is the 2012 edition of the Cyburbia Year in Review expected to be released?

They rebranded themselves as a place for garage musicians to hang out, from what I understand.

Man, that site is soooo double-aughts!

My Myspace page still exists somewhere within the interwebs. I wonder if anyone still actively visits that social media site.
    And that concludes staff’s presentation...

    _______________

A split is a 0.375 L of wine. I have a one in our cellar. It's a Hop Kiln, 2000, late harvest zinfandel, Russian River Valley (not far from the Dry Creek Valley). Made by Dr. Marty Griffin. Port-like. It should be opened.

todays breakfast consisted of pancakes and grape juice.

it costs 93 cents more per box, but getting the malted pancake/waffle mix is worth it IMHO.

Still haven't decided what to have for breakfast but it is looking like it will be peanut butter on whole wheat.

    Got it! Almost too easy!

We need some new recipes. I think this one will turn out to be a favorite!

There are too many random thoughts to keep up with.

I just had not one, but two cups of coffee with kahlua.

    I need a nap now.

We used farfalle (?) pasta and frozen broccoli and it was super easy. The only thing we added was some garlic salt because we love garlic.

This is another one we like (that I might've shared before). We call it, "Yum yum gimme some." Sweet Potato and Red Pepper Pasta

The only drawback to being single these days is how to coordinate getting back and forth from the garage when the car needs work.

My sisters don't really live close enough to help without bitching, and my mom's getting too old and nervous to help. I don't like asking people for help, and feel kind of awkward for literally having bummed a ride from an acquaintance.

I'm going to take a quick nap, then walk to the store for family dinner food. That should pass time until I have to bum a ride back.

Other than that, being single is swell.
