I can't stand crowds. They make me feel crazed and claustrophobic. I think it has to do with my being short and not being able to see what's around me.

I've heard stories from people who have been there. The bodily fluids are what would bother me. How many thousand people packed into Times Square and only so many bathrooms that are not easily accessible? Ick.

    Still stuck in my head:

    1. Oh, the West Virginia hills! How majestic and how grand,
With their summits bathed in glory, Like our Prince Immanuel's Land!
Is it any wonder then, That my heart with rapture thrills,
As I stand once more with loved ones On those West Virginia hills?

    CHORUS:

Oh, the hills, beautiful hills, How I love those West Virginia hills!
If o'er sea o'er land I roam, Still I'll think of happy home,
And my friends among the West Virginia hills.

Looks like Otis may have secured his lead on me. I don't know if I will be able to catch up this close to the deadline.

    Well played.

It was a strange night that probably calls for a longer reply, but, yeah, as we were leaving it was basically me putting bony elbows in peoples' stomachs to keep my wife and me from getting trampled.

Same here. But, one advantage is that it can be easier to move to the front of a crowd when you are small.

5' 6'' would be an improvement! I don't really mind being short, and lately I find that I'm taller than a lot of people. I'm always surprised when I realize that I'm taller than some of the men I meet during work.

Wow! You're all amazing slackers. Nice mittens, beach bum. Not often you say that. Is someone standing by to close the thread at Bear's memorial number?

I once dated a guy named Calvin. Except his real name was Kenneth. But he went by Calvin. His middle name wasn't even Calvin. He had issues.
