I pulled my back out on New Years Eve while reaching down to put mini-skis blankie back into the stroller, and it is still bugging the heck out of me. My chiropractor is on vacation until next week. Anyone have any suggestions?

I did the same thing around X-mas, but it was from running on a treadmill without stretching. Do you know if it is a muscle pull or mis-alignment of the spine?
In my case my spinal column was out of alignment and the Chiro (who's also my GF- go figure) told me to ice the affected area to reduce the swelling.
When she put my back in there was a loud pop that totally creeped me out.. she said I was so out of alignment that my left leg was 1.5 inches longer than my right one.
Other than don't go to a chiropractor?

I've been following the story of C/V Rena since she ran aground on the Astrolabe reef of Tauranga, New Zealand* in early October. I've been amazed they were able to remove as much oil as they have and as many cargo containers as they have. Rena has now broken --though she's still sitting above the reef -- and will be hit by 7 meter waves asa low-pressure system passes through soon.
