Who knew becoming a manger would be so much to take in.
I got breifings on my purchase card, my payroll approvals (have to approve my staff) and the keys to my very own city truck.
Not to mention that everyone is looking to me for answers... look out world.
You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone

You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone

I'm not a manager but everybody still looks to me for answers. I guess the only difference is that they expect my answers to be correct!

Sorry, man, my man card is too important for that.

If you have Cumberland Farms in your area I urge you to boycott them. Totally unconscionable how they treated this guy

I briefly entertained the thought of starting a hazing themed thread....but then I thought that sounds like a thread someone other than me should start.

what does it mean when there is no fortune in your fortune cookie?
Children in the back seat can cause accidents - and vice versa.

Utoh! Looks like you're SOL buddy (and you can't add the words "in bed" at the end).

It is 2012. If it was a Mayan fortune cookie, I'd really be scared.

I just sent an e-mail that contained the following sentence, "As you can see from being a dog our view of the neighborhood is dog oriented." I think it is time for me to go home, circle the couch a few times, and then lie down.

I need a biscuit and a good belly rub.

I can't do this topic justice today. How about you just post the Animal House clip, crack a few jokes about sodomy, and call it a thread?

The bump on the BSG thread reminded me of something that only true geeks could be excited or concerned about...

Did you hear that they are making a movie out of Ender's Game?

I love that book series so much that my body cringes and my heart aches every time I think about it. Of course, I will be there to see it as soon as it is released. But I might cry. All. Night. Long.

Eh, he seems a little biased and/or random in his choice of landmarks. I saw another article (http://www.slate.com/articles/arts/c..._america_.html) that had closeups of certain areas. Like, for example he identified the University of Miami in Ohio, but not the University of Cincinnati. Wrigley Field but not U.S. Cellular Field. I know, I'm making something out of nothing. But I'm all about consistency.

Miami of Ohio is probably more important than UC. I mean ask anyone that went to Miami of Ohio...

There's only so much room on that map, so difficult choices had to be made. I don't think anyone would argue that U.S. Cellular field is more of a prominent landmark than Wrigley field (well, except irrational White Sox fans that is).

I found mistakes! The map shows beltways around Corning and Binghamton where they don't exist.

Nonetheless, today is payday, and I think I'll be ordering one. The map is stunning.

I ordered one as well and will be interested to look at it in a bit more detail. But I will agree with IllinoisPlanner that in the few detailed shots I've seen, the landmarks that have been included/excluded, seems to be VERY random. I would rather see fewer landmarks overall in the map for every city/metro and then have space set aside for detailed maps at a larger scale for the big metros where more landmarks could be included.
