Haha I thought about it but wasn’t brave enough!

Just had to share, in one session there were 8 males sitting in front of me, and 6 (SIX) of them had blue-with-white stripes long-sleeved collared shirts on. The session was at 7:30 in the morning, so counting blue shirts helped to keep me alert.

I'm doing the blood donation thingy again tomorrow morning. They'll take double units of platelets and return my plasma. Takes me about 45-minutes as I'm a bleeder if they get the right vein. In the afternoon, I have a planning commission meeting with a new staff attorney. Tomorrow will be an interesting day.

There seemed like a lot honestly. But the resume booth was also packed...

It takes constant vigilance to maintain high quality erogenous zoning. We know that you'll be up to it.

Your unswerving dedication to your job makes all of us proud. I will get the paperwork started because clearly you deserve an award from APA for your unselfish devotion to the planning profession.

Now you've done it. I told myself I wouldn't cry.

And Maister, we expect photographic documentation to accompany the report that you'll be submitting to us for verification.

Just learned that our digital flood maps will go official later this year and that while our flood protection system (levee, wall, et cetera) has been certified, the area it protects will now be shown as a shaded zone X whereas it was previously unshaded zone X. I predict this will cause headaches for lots of people.

And if you are a CRS Community, with the proposed 2012 Coordinators Manual you would have to include them in an outreach / warning program according to the webinars..

I knew I should have conferred with you guys first when doing the review. See, I have grave concerns that one of the contestants might try to sneak weapons or explosives in under their clothes. Trouble is we don't have any of those sophisticated x-ray, metal detectors or other scanning devices. I don't know what we could do to prevent a potentially dangerous terrorist situation like that from occuring.

Can't believe no guys stepped up to the plate for the softball punchline....."guess you'll have to resort to vigorous pat downs and/or strip searches." Sheesh!

    Southern Californian here.

    Skipped it.

I'm heading to AEP's state conference in Sacramento in early May, instead. I'll actually learn something useful there (and maybe get lucky on some AICP CMs too).

It's incredible to think that the remains of 6-year old Etan Patz -- who has been missing since 1979 -- might finally be located after all these years. I remember this case very well, as I was in NYC at the time and his disappearance was all over the news.

Reports of missing children were pretty rare in those days.

I can't imagine what his parents went through. Apparently they still live in the same neighborhood.
