TS is still active on FB, so I don't think there's much to worry about. Not sure about BUN.

So why do those grocery store chicken tenders taste so damn good and stink up the store so I buy them for lunch even though I am on a good weight loss run? Crack?

I know I have a story for everything, but I do have one about this. I did a 1.5 year stint working a second job at the local Costco. Worked in the deli. That's right. I made the chickens on Saturdays. I have skewered and roasted thousands of chickens. It was a Sunday, and we were almost closed. Last chickens out of the oven, going into the case and being taken from the table as I could box them.....down to the last skewer: Four chickens. Six people standing there. There's a blonde near the back who is quicker than most because while they're still doing the math, you can see she is formulating a plan. She walks up and says "Oh Boy, am I guess I'm glad I came by and reserved this earlier, huh, big boy?" She smiles winningly, picks up a chicken and walks off before the guy in front says "I didn't know you could order these". An older lady reached around him and grabbed a chicken herself and says to him "You can't....Big Boy" and walks off herself. Sadly, the rest was a blur and Mr. Surprised ended up Chicken-less. True stories of Costco and Chicken and Human Nature.

I was just asked by a community member if I could reschedule my vacation so that I could be a tour guide for city park/parking lot at a summer event. I think the ask to move my vacation was only a partial joke.

Last night on "Eureka", they had a scene set in grief counseling center. The room had an area with bunnies, which made me think of Dandy.

A scary day. Got word early this morning that the kid's half-brother (my former stepson) was hospitalized in Dallas after a stroke last night. He's only 40! (That's still a "kid" to me...). This evening's diagnosis, a combo of TIAs (small strokes) and Bell's Palsy (something about nerve damage in the face), they're sending him home if he remains stable.

That is scary, ZG! I hope he recovers quickly and completely, if possible.

    AIB ZG

I saw a recent picture of a high school crush. He was a Senior who played football and ran track with me, I was a freshman and head over heels. He looks old and skinny!

On the upside I had a dream last night that I kissed a young dark-haired Scottish dude . I wish I could've stayed in bed and gone back to that dream!

I may have to delete the "Drop 7" app off of my phone if I ever want to get any work done.

Old, clueless and don't own that type of phone - why is "Drop 7" so addictive ?

    Now get off my lawn.

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.

There was a story today in the local paper - a drunk driver plowed into four parked cars, totalling three. The four cars belong to the same person - one of the deputy county attorneys we commonly work with.

Talk about bad karma for the county attorney.

Even worse karma for the drunk driver.

I can't tell the difference between the Mall Chinese restaurants. Why do people pick one or the other?....

I'm with you on that one although my wife loves them. We have a Chinese restaurant right near our house that serves what I can only describe as mall Chinese food.

Happy Lucky China Panda Star Palace is much better than Golden Imperial Jade Dragon Garden Wok. The strip plaza they're in is three years older. It's much more authentic.
