Tony Blankley passed away today from stomach cancer. He worked in the Reagan administration and was later Newt Gingrich's press secretary. Most recently he was a commentator on KCRW's Left, Right, and Center, which is one of my favorite weekly political talk show's. He was a very articulate voice of reason on the right and one of the main reasons I tune in every week. He was 63.

    JoPa Not Doing So Good

Some internet sites are reporting that Joe Paterno has died. It is being denied by those close to the family. It does sound like JoPa is in serious condition, due to the lung cancer. Whatever you say about his handling of the Penn State abuse thing, he was a super football coach. Hope he makes it through this tough spell. LC is a devil.

He was excellent as Merlin! RIP Nicol.

    Off-topic:
Excalibur at IMDB reminded me of how many great actors were in that film, like Helen Mirren, Liam Neeson, Patrick Stewart and others. I might have to dig out the DVD and catch that one again sometime soon.
