    Choices

    Who would you choose between:
    1. Lori Partridge or Marsha Brady
(both of 70's family sitcom fame)

    2. Betty or Veronica
    (of Archie comic fame)

    3. Velma or Daphne
    (Scooby Doo)

    4. Ginger or Mary Ann
    (Gilligans Island)

    5. Laverne or Shirley

    6. Betty or Wilma
    (Flintstones)

    Chrissy or Janet
    (Three's Company)

    (optional) Why?

Feel free to add other obvious choices I may have missed.

Edit: oh what the heck I may as well include the male counterparts (before dandy does)

    7. Keith Partridge or Greg Brady

    8. Archie or Reggie

    9. Fred or Shaggy

    10. Gilligan or the Professor

    11. Lenny or Squiggy

    12. Fred or Barney

    13 Jacob or Edward

What is the reason for choosing? My answers might vary depending on the situation. I would choose Laverne over Shirley to be my roller derby team mate, but if I had to have tea with the queen I would choose Shirley.

You're already asking too many questions. I suggest you apply your attention to questions 7-12

Nice try but you're not getting out of this that easily. Since your choices match mine identically, I say with some confidence that your answer to number - 5 if you had to choose (and that is the point here) would be Shirley.

Someone has dated themselves with these choices!

A younger man might ask Marge Simpson or Lois Griffin?

    Who would you choose between:
    1. Marsha Brady - so she could introduce me to Jan - who I thought was cute

    2. Betty - cuz she is very rich - duh!

    3. Daphne - gotta love those redheads

    4. Mary Ann - sure I love the redheads, but, come on, Mary Ann and those corn-fed curves and Daisy Dukes

    5. Laverne or Shirley - neither, really. Maybe Laverne because she isn't as much of a prig

    6. Betty or Wilma - Betty, for sure, she had a rocking prehistoric bod.

    7. Chrissy or Janet - Chrissy - blonde and huge tracts of land.

    13 Jacob or Edward
    7. When I was 9, it was Danny Partridge ... though I did get to see David Cassidy at the local airport around that time

    8. Archie... Reggie is a meanie!

    9. Shaggy, of course... he hangs with Scooby Doo

    10. Probably Gilligan, though the Professor would be the more logical choice, since he'd more likely to get me off the island...

    11. Never liked either of them

    12. Neither one is my "type"

    13. Who are Jacob and Edward??

otterpop: Veronica was the rich one!

    Who would you choose between:

    1. Lori Partridge - Go with the bad girl rocker
    2. Veronica - Rich and hot
    3. Daphne - I think Velma might bat for the other team... Fred, too. NTTAWWT, but it makes the choice obvious.
    4. Mary Ann - Oh, to throw a kink into the wholesomeness.
    5. Shirley - Lesser of two evils? Besides, I think Laverne would hit you for even thinking about it.
    6. Betty - Wilma seems like such a nag.
    7. Chrissy - Never liked Janet much. Besides...
    8. Lois - The naughty wife
    9. Thelma - Always liked her!

Mine: Rizzoli or Isles? (I don't watch it, but I have always had a thing for Angie Harmon)

Love that movie (Back to the Beach, right? I used to dream about moving to a pier in California and surfing all day.)

    1. Marsha Brady - Never saw The Partridge Family

    2. Betty

    3. Velma - Fellow dork!

    4. Uh, how about neither!

    5. See #4

    6. Betty - Staying consistent with the animated brunettes

    7. Chrissy or Janet - Ooh, tough one, I'll go with Janet, although she would lose out to Chrissy's second replacement!

    1. Lori Partridge or Marsha Brady
Lori. Both have that 70's hot look, but Lori is perhaps more intellectual and substantive while Marsha can be a bit vacuous.

    2. Betty or Veronica
    Neither. Both are too cartoonish.

    3. Velma or Daphne
Daphne if we are just talking a one night fling, but Velma for the long term. I like the brainy ones.

    4. Ginger or Mary Ann
Mary Ann. This has to be obvious.

    5. Laverne or Shirley
    Shirley.

    6. Betty or Wilma
I have a policy to stay away from married women.

    Chrissy or Janet
Chrissy. OK, that does not fit with the brainy thing, but the hotness differential is too big to ignore.

Yes, some of these I would have to Google to make an informed opinion. For the ones I know:

    9. Fred, cleaning up after Shaggy would lead me to eat Scooby snacks all the time
    10. Professor
    12. Barney (Fred's temper would get old very quickly)
    13. I know who they are but I have tried to stay far, far away from them.

Can I add a few more for the ladies?

Legolas (Orlando Bloom) or Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen)?

    Han Solo or Luke Skywalker?

Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, or Daniel Craig?

They are all characters from either TV shows or comic books-mostly from the 70s. Maister, and a few other cyburbs are showing their age.
When did I go from Luke Skywalker to Obi-Wan Kenobi?

    Hot Lips or Klinger?

EDIT: Sally Kellerman or Loretta Swit?
