Did you ever notice how often numbers get into our lives? We use those numbers for identity, nostalgia, bragadocious. Numbers allow us to access places, measure responses, budget our lives, maximize "wants".

We use numbers in everyday conversations, at work and at play. Numbers worm into discussions of balance sheets, productivity, production, batting averages, sexcapades, music collections, slacker counts.
