    AIB the West, TX fertilizer plant explosion,

    Are you a member of your LEPC ? yes
    if you are, how have you contributed to to their plan or exercises ? improved their population protection decision making process

    I thought that term went away post-9/11 with Homeland Secruity and NIMS training - we just have an emergency management group

    in my past town, I was the PIO but here I am not

    No, SARA Title 3 which is under EPA still requires an Local Emergency Planning Committee & pre-planning
    (inventory, risk assesment/vulnerability) for Hazardous Materials.

    NIMS is for incident mangement.
