Hello all,

Although I have somehow broken the rules by posting in a few threads before introducing myself in the relevant forum, I seek redemption by doing the right thing now (better late than never, some might say...).

Having said that, I am Spanish architect trying to break away from architecture as much as I can. Someone should have told me that architecture consists in drawing window frames and gutters and thermal breaks. Had I known that, I would never have gone into studying such a long degree.

Now I want to become a planner, and will be studying a Master's next year, somewhere in the UK. If anyone wants to discourage me from entering the profession (in the same way I wish I had known the above things above architecture ....), please do so now
