    Would the book be useful for planning students to have a smooth start for into the course?

    I am reading this now- I'm a former planning student who has been out of the field for a few years. It is very helpful for me as a reminder about what planning is, the purposes of planning, some overall concepts. It is extremely easy to read and is a good overview. I think it would be good for an intro planning course or the general public. If you have any planning knowledge at all it may be too basic.
