We are in the process of establishing some metrics for various time frames associated with our realty subdivision and commercial site plan review and approval processes. We are also interested in comparisons between our time frames and what is typical in other places. Does anyone know of any sources for such information.

Sorry - I was not too clear about what we are doing. Like WA State, NYState also has time frames for various action / approval stages, as do our local codes. We are not looking to change our legislatively mandated time frames but are looking to measure and generate reports on the actual amount of time from say; date of application receipt to date hearing or date of approval, etc. We will be using application tracking software to do this and are curious about what time frames other municipalites keep track of and what some typical timeframes for review and approval of subdivisions and site plans, might be in oter locations. Hope this clarifies.
