    The Semi Serious Thread

Semi sweet chocolate is o.k., just o.k. Are there any other semis you kind of care about?

I'm vaguely interested in these new "semi-diet" colas. In semi-seriousness, Pepsi Next is probably the best of them, with Dr. Pepper 10 running a close second.

They never will for me. You must be more cute. I'll bet that's it. I am kind of bothered by the semi-inequality of that situation. Could you try to be less cute and see if they still honk for you? I'd kind of like to know.

I think the Seminoles are a too-often overlooked Native American tribe.

And another thing, the last time I rode the train the guy who checked my ticket was very short, but I wouldn't go so far as to call him a semi-conductor.

Where did the other half of the tribe go? Or do two Seminoles make a Wholenole?

What do you do to get them honking their horns?
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

As a semi-professional semiologist, I love all kinds of signs and symbols - semi-circles, semicolons, etc.

I think we should all line up in a semi-circle.

If you line semi-trailers up in a circle, does that make it a semi-circle?

Is Anti-semiism a problem in your community? I mean; are there people there who have a blind hatred of semi's?

A seminar on how the Seminoles were relocated to a semiarid region of the United States and it could be held semiannually in semidark conference room.

Attended by semiasleep people who were semiinterested after a semifilling semibrunch buffet served with a less than semiuseful utensil - the spork.

Another topic could be the tremendous population growth spurt that took place when they were still in Semi nation.
