There's a sucker born every minute

I admit it, I'm a sucker. I should know better but I can't help myself....

let me explain - every time I see summer dishware at a store or garage sale my hand immediately goes to my wallet. Sure I don't have anywhere really to store it, and yes maybe I might only use it once or twice a year.....but, gosh, it's so darned colorful!! Yes, I am powerless against summerware/fiestaware, and it takes an intervention to keep me from buying the stuff when I see it. I've been lucky and so far I have only managed to buy a lemonade pitcher and a set of red/white/blue sailboat drinking glasses since I got married but the summer clearance sales have yet to begin.....

Is anyone else a sucker when it comes to buying something you DON'T need? Something you find yourself rationalizing after you bought it?
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

Mrs. Coragus has a bunch of those glases like in the pic. A couple weeks ago, I dropped one and it fell on a 25 pound dumbbell. That incident is a good analogy for how this weekend felt.

I've never been an impulse buyer or collector of things. I guess I'm not a sucker. Well, besides good beer. But that doesn't count.

Fleece jackets. I love them. I could wear one every day except in summer. I have too many as it is and I've forbidden myself from purchasing any new ones...for the time being.
