What to do between career moves

I spent some time on this last summer. One of the best things I've ever done; extremely rewarding on a personal level. (I've befriended the victim's family, and every now and then one of them will call me out on Facebook.)

Yep, it's on my resume. Victim's son says to use him as a reference.

Nice work! These are complicated crossing situations, I find. Anywhere there are off-ramps, on-ramps, service roads and/or state highways interacting with cyclists, things get tricky. Looks also like there are some visibility issues with the rise in the roadway, too (which is why, I would think, some signage to alert drivers about what they can’t yet see does seem like a good idea). The main thing I find is judging speed and distance is very challenging with vehicles travelling so fast.

Again, time well spent both on the design and working with the victim's family.
