Why do people ask to join CFFL and then not even care to set their lineup each week?
I really think we need to shrink to a 10 man league... only those who care are invited. I am getting killed this year, and I played a team that didn't even put 3 guys in their line up.... but at least I am switching up my roster....COME ON!Originally posted by hilldweller

I would agree to shrink it to 10 teams, this is getting pretty ridiculous. When people don't care it spoils it for those that do.
Non-participating players has been my pet peeve for many CFFL seasons now.
I hate the Ronco "Set it and forget it" teams. If you are not planning on updating your line up then don't play. Sometimes you miss a week or forget about the Thursday game and that is fine but those teams that have not adjustred their roster since week 3 are @ssholes. I really did not want to play this year but I committed to it and am doing my best to field a top tier team. I am sure you can find 5 minutes to set a line up and make sure all of your slots have active players.
I think a 10 team invite only league is the best way to do it. Giff and Hink get to choose the other 8 to play is my suggestion.

Figures that the one guy in our division who played for several weeks with players on bye or out injured suddenly has a complete line-up ready for this week. That's okay, the play-off spot has already been clinched...just a matter of hanging on to first place now
Tide, I commend you for making an effort with your team even though you weren't getting results. I like the 2 strikes and you're out rule, even though we're only playing for fun. I would certainly suggest that we keep in mind previous activity when deciding who gets to play next year if there is a huge demand for teams.
