2. I had crispy tofu and vegetable with garlic sauce for lunch. Yum!
3. I ate lunch alone because my one friend cancelled and then the other two decided it would be best to reschedule.
4. It was my first lunch in quite some time that didn't occur in front of a screen.
5. I'm going to Zumba tonight!
6. I like snakes too.
7. And bats.
8. I want to hug a wombat.
9. I got new running shoes and wore them for last night's run.
10. 17 weeks until 2013!

4. I've been taking a lot of Ibuprofren lately, but for no apparent reason.

A few months ago I had a cold and was also feeling unusually sleepy so I started to wonder if I had mono… on the 3rd day I realized I had accidentally been taking ibuprofen PM instead of the regular kind! It was torture trying to stay awake at work until I figured it out!

Ok, my stab at post padding

1. I like spinach raw, not cooked
2. A day with cookies is always better than a day without them.
3. Thanks to the weather, this has been a really strange week.
4. The only midwestern/great lakes state I haven't been to is Iowa. I've been to Michigan, Ohio and Illinois numerous times.
5. The only southern states I haven't been to are North and South Carolina
6. I've never lived west of the Mississippi River.
7. With the exception of the big toe on my right foot, I've never broken a bone.
8. I miss fall in the Great Lakes.
9. I've never been to a pro basketball game.
10. My musical taste are down right schizophrenic. Currently, I'm listen to DeadMau5 on Itunes.

I broke it throwing a kick in tae kwon do. Swelled up to the size and color of an egg plant and hurt like a !@#$%^%$. I learned there is nothing they can do when you break a toe.

7. I was in NYC for the terrorist attacks on 9/11 and I have never written down my experience. I think I might do so this year.
8. If I'm not pregnant by January we are going to pursue adoption. We have an appointment with an adoption counselor today.
9. Apparently our local Wegmans has some Organic Wild Maine blueberries for sale. I hope to pick up a pack tonight. Yum.

He's a stray that lives in the woods behind the office. He shows up every morning and greets us. We've been trying to pet him since he showed up about a year ago, but he still won't let us. He has walked about 10' feet inside several times.

1. My daughter asked me to take her to the library this afternoon so she could get books for her science fair project.
2. After I asked, she told me her project is to determine whether mice are color blind.
3. No, she told me, mom had not okayed her getting mice but her teacher had approved the science project.

5. My front lawn is a disaster after replacing the water, sewer, and gas lines this spring and summer followed by a prolonged drought.
6. I've lost 31 pounds since mid-April. However, the denture diet is not recommended.
7. Council meeting tonight and I'm front and center. Short Council agendas have a way of getting off-track, though.
8. We are filing in court to stop the county from making a big mistake. They didn't listen when we told them, perhaps they'll listen to a judge.
9. We don't let our older orange long-hair tabby outside anymore. He looks sad about it.
10. This has been a long four-day work week.

1. My garden was a total failure this year.
2. I’m obsessed with biking and “bikepacking” and have spent far too many hours pouring over maps for a trip I may never take.

5. I’m in line to interview for a Director position but the board is dragging its feet and keeps putting off the process. Was supposed to happen in the first week of August but now we are pushed to the first week of October.
6. Looked at a house yesterday. Thinking about moving.
7. I’m spending next week at a conference in Burlington.
8. My 12 year old dog doesn’t know how to chew bones. He just walks around the house with them daintily in his mouth, drooling on everything.

1. The nonprofit organization where I was a college intern had an office cat... he had only three legs, but he got around just fine.
2. Our dog has been acting really neurotic lately.
3. It really annoys me when someone says that they will call you right after they finish what they're doing, and then you don't hear from them.
4. I haven't watched any of the Republican or Democratic conventions.
5. I'd rather watch Jon Stewart on The Daily Show than the "real" news.
6. I can't keep up with all the e-newsletters I receive. Most of 'em sit in my Inbox for months until I go through all of them at once.
7. I'm still using Office 2003.
8. A distant cousin who I've never met has a high-level job with one of our senators; her name keeps showing up as "Someone You Might Know" in LinkedIn, but I haven't connected.
9. We have an old horse barn on our property that my husband is trying to fix up, even though it would be cheaper to build a new one.
10. I'm looking forward to having lunch with a business colleague tomorrow.

4. I went beer tasting this past weekend and verified yet again that I don’t like IPAs. But the girly beers and the stouts were tasty (Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company).
5. I wish my sister and I lived closer together (close enough to catch a movie).
6. I wish my mom lived closer (but not too close, like a 2-3 hour drive away).
7. I keep seeing people use the word “Segway” when they mean “segue” and it bothers me (saw it again this morning).
8. I’m seriously not a Grammar Nazi in general, though.
9. Our office decided to start using one space in between sentences instead of two in documents and it’s more of a challenge than I thought it would be.
