1. I'm a day late in doing this - other times I'm a dollar short
2. Sometimes I'd like to be a cruise ship bartender far a couple months
3. So sad that minor league baseball is over until next April
4. Safety meetings are BORING!

6. I'm enjoying the Oktoberfest selections this time of year
7. Need to go to the hardware during lunch today
8. Personally the next 9 months will be interesting (and no its not that)
9. I need to start cleaning out the workshop
10. I hate the political crap going on - federal, local, etc.

3. I sometimes talk myself out of dreams/impulses with astonishing speed. e.g. "I wonder if I should write a gardening book?.....nahhh, do you realize how many are out there already? And to think my writing skills are superior to theirs would be the height of arrogance..."
4. My musical tastes are very very eclectic, but to be honest they include quite a bit of music that's considered by many as seriously uncool
5. I like the Billy Idol songs 'Eyes Without a Face' and 'Dancing With Myself'
6. This has been one of the longest work weeks I can ever recall

8. I watched Forrest Gump once, and that has been quite sufficient for me

1. For being one of my favorite threads, I certainly seem to have difficulty remembering to bump it every Thursday (except today...YAY!)

3. I found myself questioning why do I always say "testing 1 2 3 testing..." whenever I test a microphone. I mean, there are so many more interesting things one could say

7. I feel really sad whenever I hear the song 'Puff the Magic Dragon'. Certain songs trigger it and that's one of them
8. Coming up with 10 things has never seemed particularly difficult.....until now

2. The wife arranged for an all-day Sunday date day. Awesome.

4. I haven’t had beer since Saturday. I’m thirsty.
5. Spent last week in Burlington Vermont. What a cool town!
6. We have too many school obligations for the kids. 2 fall fiestas, fundraising drives, volunteer requirements, meetings with teachers and so much more on the horizon.
7. Today I managed to get all the recycling together and out on the curb, only to have them determine one bag was unfit to take. Why?! WHY?! It had the same material as the other…
8. Got yelled at for letting my leashed dog tread 3 feet onto the grass in front of a law office. He wasn’t going to the bathroom or digging or anything. Just walking. And this lady chewed me out. No sign, no fence, nothing. Just anger. Sigh.
9. I keep having to tell contractors not to dump construction refuse on our PRIVATE land. WTF?
10. Met with some City lawyers this morning. That’ll wake you up. And then put you to sleep…

6. Fall is a slow and beautiful. Like a frustrating and yet enjoyable waitress. Put that in your fortune cookie.
7. I still double-space after punctuation even though I know it's no longer the 'norm'.
8. I like laundry. I like how fresh laundry smells and knowing that the laundry is done.
9. I am waiting for my copy of "The Revenge of Geography" to arrive. Very excited.

1. I think it's cool at a girl from the Mennonite community in Goshen, IN is on Face/Off-a sci-fi tv series for make up and costume designers.
2. As much as a die-hard Cubs fan as I am, I may have watched the last Cubs games of the year. The team is simply unwatchable.
3. I'm really looking forward to the new season of Person of Interest.
4. Is the election over yet? I'm getting real tired of it, tho watching Romney campaign is kinda fun in a trainwreck sort of way.
5. I think Dan deserves major props for getting cyburbia up and running again.
6. I'm looking foward to thanksgiving this year.
7. It's not been a bad week, but I'm glad it's Friday afternoon.
8. It's funny how training you received as a kid stays with you tho you no longer use it much.
9. I'm a double spacer after a period person and can't seem to break the habit. Goodness know how much I got it drilled into me at my first professsional job.

3. Sometimes it surprises me how many magazines we receive. I didn't think we subscribed to so many, or maybe it's just that they all arrive at the same time.
4. I'm sick of all the political ads on TV.
5. I like watching the local news in the morning while I drink my coffee, but the Today Show has gone way downhill.
6. I just realized that I forgot to buy a container of half-and-half for the coffee.
7. I love the fact that I can sometimes hear the mooing of cows on nearby farms from our backyard.
8. I should be outside while the weather is still nice.

5. Dinner tonite will be fajitas.
6. The new fridge has LED lights. Cool.
7. The boy cat is pissed that RJ just got home.
8. Our little city library has books from 2010 in the "new" section. Uh-huh...
